About Dr. Skerhut
Holger E.I. Skerhut, M.D.
Diplomate, American Board of Neurological Surgery
Born in Germany, Dr. Skerhut has called San Antonio his home since the age of four. An alumnus of Central Catholic High School, Dr. Skerhut completed undergraduate studies at St. Mary's University and finished both medical school and neurosurgical residency training at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. Certified by the American Board of Neurosurgery since 1992, Dr. Skerhut is an authority in the treatment and diagnosis of disorders involving both the brain and spine. Dr. Skerhut is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS), North American Spine Society (NASS), Bexar county Medical Society (BCMS), and Texas Medical Association (TMA).
My Mission
